Investing in Scotland's Greener Future of Coach Travel

Green fleet coach hire in Scotland – Hunters Executive Coaches is making a significant investment in the next generation of our fleet, bringing cleaner, quieter and more sustainable vehicles to Central Scotland. This is a major step forward for our business, our customers and our drivers, and we’re proud to be leading this change as a genuinely local, family-owned company based in Tullibody, Clackmannanshire. Our commitment to a green fleet Scotland coach hire ensures we contribute to a more sustainable future with our green fleet Scotland coach hire.

What's changing?

Over the coming months, we will be introducing new vehicles to our fleet that significantly reduce emissions and improve the experience for every passenger on board. This investment builds on our existing commitment to Euro 6 compliant vehicles and our support for the Scottish Government's net zero targets. Every new vehicle will continue to be maintained at our own DVSA-approved facility in Tullibody — to the same exacting standards our customers already rely on.

What this means for our customers

A greener fleet means quieter, smoother journeys, significantly reduced environmental impact for your group travel, and continued investment in safety and comfort. Organisations with their own sustainability commitments - schools, local authorities, NHS boards, corporate clients and public sector organisations - will increasingly be able to choose Hunters as the responsible coach hire partner of choice across Central Scotland. As a proud Scottish Living Wage employer and member of the Confederation of Passenger Transport, doing the right thing is not new to us. The green fleet investment is simply the next step in a long-standing commitment to operating responsibly in the communities we serve.

What this means for our drivers

Our drivers will be at the heart of this transition. New vehicles mean new training opportunities, modern technology behind the wheel, and the chance to be part of a genuine shift in how Scotland travels - without losing what makes working at Hunters Executive Coaches different. The variety of work, the family culture, the fact that Julie knows every driver by name — none of that changes. What changes is the fleet gets greener, quieter and more rewarding to drive.
